I would like to put it on record that Ms. Simi Thukral of your company handled my hotel bookings for Goa so efficiently and with so much poise that it cannot be described in words.
I usually get very impatient while holding onto the phone while your agents make bookings but with Ms Simi, I did not feel the same at all, infact I wanted to talk to her more and more.
She kept telling me all the time don't worry and she told me...I will get back to you in 2-3 mins and she did that, she exhibited so much good, pleasing and positive attitude that I wanted to buy more stuff. but I guess I ran out of credit limit.:).
People like Simi are great assets to any company and I must compliment the person who recruited her and further trained her but no to steal the thunder out of Simi's own caliber.
Service agents like Simi encourage customers like me to come back again and use makemytrip.com. I always use makemytrip.com and did not get a chance to look eslewhere..you know why...people like Simi do not allow us.

I must tell you my experience with MMT.
On 13th April I made a booking for GOA-MUM on Kingfisher for a 13:20 flight - The site said 2409 I paid with my CC. Since it was my first time, Poonam Chamoli on the chat was more than helpful in guiding me to my E-ticket. Subsequently, I had a query on 20% visa discount and could not find web chat (smartly available only on purchase!) so I tried the 1800-11 8747 (TRIP) number for 3 days at every time band from 6am to 3am the next day. I even wrote a complaint saying that MMT is taking my trip.
So, I called Kingfisher and came to know that MMT had paid Rs. 4400 for my ticket as Kingfisher Airlines' server was down at the time of booking my ticket. And MMT had not debited that cost to me... I was sold at the ethic. Had I not called I would never know of this gesture! Superb!
Kingfisher also told me of a later flight (14:30 departure) where I would get a refund of Rs. 1780. So I thought I would return the favor and called MMT and spoke to Kajal and V. Gupta, who tried to tell me that I would have to pay Rs. 1000 odd for rebooking and agreed that there was a refund. I subtly reminded him that I did have the option of re-booking directly with Kingfisher and did not tell him that I had already spoken with Divya and Poonam Singh from Kingfisher and had re-booked, so MMT would already have the credit.
Long story short - I am now your 'Customer Advocate' and will make sure that every person I interact with, which is like a small town population, will know of this and do all travel booking on MMT.
Not only is your web work with web chutney absolutely kick-ass, you people have your hearts in the right place.
As I was unfamiliar with the procedure, I was looking forward to a 'conventional' ticket. I will take a printout of this mail and carry my passport with me as ID proof.
