The official residence of the erstwhile royal family of Mysore, Mysore Palace is an architectural masterpiece showcasing a blend of Hindu, Muslim, Rajput and Gothic styles.

Inspired by the Cologne Cathedral in Germany, St. Philomena's Cathedral is one of the largest churches in Asia with stained glass windows and lofty towers.

The 60-acre Brindavan Gardens located behind the Krishnaraja Sagar dam site pleases with a landscaped terrace design, blooming flower beds, intricate waterways, and arch fountains.

Jagmohan Palace, built in a traditional Hindu architectural style, rises up three storeys and dates back to 1861. It was built as an alternate retreat for the royal family.

Dating back to 1892, Mysore zoo is one of the oldest zoos in the world that was established by the Maharaja of Mysore. The zoo houses animals from over 25 countries.

A not-to-be-missed site, the Mysore Sand Sculpture Museum displays sand sculptures created by various artisans. It also has a 3D art gallery with masterpiece creations.

Visitors are attracted to Chamundi Hills for the Chamundeshwari Temple and Nandi statue at the top of the hill, along with its traditional temple art and architecture.
