The only airport of Bhutan, Paro Airport ( PBH ) is situated in the Paro Valley at an elevation of 2,235 metre. Set on the bank of Paro River, amidst lofty peaks, Paro Airport is considered among the world's most challenging airports and offers limited flight services. Operated by Department of Civil Aviation, Paro Airport has a 1,985 metre long asphalt paved runway and two terminals that include one passenger terminal and one cargo terminal. Paro Airport is only served by Drukair, the national airline of Bhutan. Currently, Drukair offers flights from Paro Airport to Bagdogra, Delhi, Kolkata, Gaya, Dhaka, Bangkok and Kathmandu.
