Zia International Airport ( DAC ) is the largest airport in Bangladesh located in Dhaka city. Zia International Airport is named after the former president of Bangladesh, Ziaur Rahman. Zia International Airport serves as both the domestic and international airport for the country and is the hub of the national carrier of Bangladesh, Biman Bangladesh Airlines that flies to 21 cities. International airlines that operate to and from Zia International Airport include Jet Airways, Air India Express, Kingfisher Airlines, Qatar Airways, Emirates Airlines and Singapore Airlines, among others.
