Property is conveniently located, close to the beach & other restaurants/shops. We only had the breakfast, which was complimentary but rate it as average. The original standard room booked was not good, the bed was uncomfortable, the air conditioning didn't work. The management thus upgraded us to their suite, which was comfortable but had basic amenities. Here again the air conditioner had a problem & had to be tended to by their technician. Service was prompt.

First all viewer if u stay note that in this hotel u can not assume any kindly of service on time it will took 1-1.30 hr after making multiple call any type like house keeping, kitchen inbound hotel, The outdoors of the hotel is good but once I checked in the room it was a nightmare. The condition of the room was pathetic. The AC was making humming sound. The interior of the room looked like some cheap lodge. Basic thing towel also very dirty ,The room wasn't clean and neat. We requested a room change which they agreed to. But, even after seeing different rooms, standard, Delux and Delux suites the condition of the rooms were dilapidated.. it says that the resort has free wifi, on reaching we found out that wifi was only in the lobby area and reception and not inside the room which was quite disappointing. Also there Cable tv is not working ,They should be ashamed of themselves calling a 3 Star hotel. I suffer daily. Bathroom tap , Ac water leaking , door locking in this my 3 days stay multiple time i get contacted with receipation they said contact house keeping then again house keeping said u need to contact reception means just for service call i need to do call 4-5 time different person after that 30-45 min latter there person come and said sir now is evening it will done by tomorrow and same story is going on from last 3 days but still not done after taking with receptionand house keeping person they said we know all this things but what we can do we are employees only that also correct , kitchen service is also very worst . I will not recommend to book this hotel to anyone.

Service is good. All over location was excellent

We had an awful experience at this hotel. The property is extremely old, and the rooms have a very strong, unpleasant smell. Even after requesting multiple times to clean the room, no one came. The flooring is damaged, the furniture is worn out, and the overall condition is terrible. The toilets were in a horrible state — dirty, stinking badly, and the jet spray wasn’t working. To make it worse, the water supply kept going off, and we had to keep asking for it to be fixed. The amenities are just for namesake. The billiard/snooker room looks nice in photos, but the table is completely broken and unusable. Nothing is maintained properly here. We were so disappointed that we decided to check out the same night itself. We paid a good amount expecting a decent stay, but it was absolutely not worth it. The ambience is dull, dirty, and uncomfortable — you just don’t feel like staying even for a few hours. Definitely not recommended!

The hotel service is very good. On the front side you will get to enjoy the sea view and on the back side you will get to enjoy the river view.

Property location is really good, 50 meters from the beach. But room are not maintained properly and food is very average. Housekeeping has to be reminded for towels and water. Seems owner is in no mood to maintain the property

It was an amazing stay.Excellent property amidst the nature and just 2 mins walk to Cavelosium beach. Staff is very helpful, co-operative and looks after ur needs. Food is also great in taste and if you are a pure vegetarian person in South Goa then this is your place to be.

Their staff saves the day, from a maintenance point of view the property needs a total overhaul. Food was also okay.

The property looks really beautiful from the outside, and the surroundings are quite nice. The food quality is also good — tasty and freshly prepared. However, the biggest issue was with the rooms and the service. The rooms were completely damp and had a bad smell, which made the stay very uncomfortable. On top of that, the staff service was very poor. For even small things, we had to call 4–5 times before someone responded. There seems to be no proper management or coordination among the staff. It’s disappointing because the place has great potential — the location is nice, and the food is good — but the poor maintenance and service completely ruin the experience. The management seriously needs to improve cleanliness and staff behavior.

Property is good but room was not maintained properly. Washroom doors weren't locking. Tv was not working. There is no WIFI facility. Food was great though.

I stayed at The Byke Old Anchor Resort, Goa from 24th to 25th October 2025 and had to check out a day early because the property was in terrible condition. The room was dirty, the air conditioner was extremely noisy, and there was no intercom to reach anyone. Every time I needed help, I had to call using my phone — and even then, the staff were rude and unhelpful. Despite repeated complaints, no alternate room or solution was offered. The resort feels completely neglected and long overdue for renovation — walls peeling, furniture old, and basic facilities missing. What’s worse, the staff showed no concern for guest comfort and even disconnected calls abruptly when I tried to speak through support. It’s a shame because the location is stunning, right by the river, but the property is so poorly maintained that it ruins the experience entirely. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone until the management seriously overhauls the property and fixes their attitude toward guests.

rooms were so old and not so mainted plus there were so many mosquitoes and the lights were dim and the ac was not working properly

we booked the byke resort through MMT by viewing the uploaded pics. but we badly shocked by seeing the worst condition of rooms. rooms are dirty with fungal smell. walls eroded for paints. old noisy AC. outdated TV sets. everything is a mess. waste of money only.
