the location was great. the property was very clean and had courteous staff.

Room is ok but washroom water not drain out properly and room price to little high other than hotels

The room was spacious but the washroom was cramped felt it was small. The food was mediocre unlike other Royal Orchid properties. Overall experience was good and memorable it will be on my wish list.

rarely leave negative reviews, but my recent stay at this hotel was far below expectations. From the moment I arrived, the service was disorganized and unhelpful. Check-in took much longer than it should have, and the staff seemed indifferent to guests waiting in line. Throughout my stay, requests for basic things like clean towels and room cleaning were either delayed or ignored. When I tried to speak to the front desk, the staff appeared uninterested and offered no apology or solution. The level of customer care was very disappointing. While the location of the hotel was convenient, the lack of professionalism and poor service overshadowed everything else. I expected a much higher standard for the price I paid. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone until they make serious improvements in staff training and guest relations.

Amazing experience Ya The Hotel looks good, very nice and maintenance also Suprabha. The cleaning neatness the Way of the reception. Everything looks good and the food complimentary food varieties and the taste also good. This is really good. I am really happy to happy to book this largest through make my trip, it's a good fantastic.

I was traveling solo and had a comfortable stay. The buffet restaurant food was decent and had good variety. Overall, a pleasant experience and friendly staff made it a smooth trip.

This is the best hotel in Shimoga town, situated just 5 minutes walk to bus terminal and 10 minutes drive to rail station. Rooms are very spacious, clean, with all modern amenities including iron, AC, TV with multiple channels, freeze, electric kettle with snacks etc. Food n beverages are of high quality. Breakfast spread is very good with multiple veg options and 3 non veg options including eggs. Live counter for egg items and dosa are also available. Staffs are very helpful. Overall a very comfortable stay both died solo as well as for family.

The room was very neat and clean very spacious as well the room was maintained very neatly by the housekeeping staff.A special call out to the person called Sowmya who ensured the room was maintained very neat and clean and she turned up everyday and refill essential items also make the room very neat and clean she was also very punctual and cleant the room at specific time very well done . This also made us feel very comfortable and pleasant. Hotel Administration should have people like Sowmya in the team to ensure hotel is maintained very well and guests gets the best experience.

I particularly liked Mr Santosh's attitude and customer service. The property location and the general upkeep is plesant. What i did not like which impacted the stay 1. the flush did not work in the morning and they took their time to come to assess, but could not fix. i asked for a bucket and the response was "oh we dont have any buckets to provide". After raising voice they were able to give me a bucket for me to self manually flush toilet!!!! 2. no hot water (just like warm) in the room so if you like a good hot shower you will not be happy.

very nice room very clean n hygiene we stay with kids we liked it near to everything staff is so friendly n cooperative food is little costly but yum one not like is for 6 eggs they charge 580 rs tat is toooo costly we shocked they charge for 1 plate egg 250 it's not fair they need to charge fairly bcoz eggs is not tat much costly

Wonderful place and room with a great service. They were even available late night for our stay . overall a fantastic Experience

Nice play to stay either on business or personal trips . Have stayed here many number of times . The food is good too.

overall experience is good, however sorry state this, May be because of monsoon, room is having fungus smell. Needs to be sanitised or fumigated.

Most of the facilities were good except for the washbasin design. It was flat due to which water draining was exsasperatingly slow. Washbasins should always be half round.
