How My Volunteering Trip to India Turned into a Touristy Adventure!

I travelled to India to volunteer as a part of a humanitarian project. I was all by myself!

However, the program fell apart because many of the volunteers did not arrive and there were mix-ups within the organization. I was already there so I did not know what to do. Luckily, a couple days into my stay I learned that three girls from another program were traveling all over India, so I joined their journey. It was all unplanned!  

The girls were super nice and we became great friends. We travelled all around India and had incredible experiences, like waking up at 3 a.m. so we could see the Taj Mahal by sunrise. It was unbelievable and I am so glad that everything turned out just fine and that I made lovely friends.

And that’s how my adventurous trip to India came to an end.
