This second edition of Storm will bring together thousands of music lovers from all over the country in the spectacular scenic environs of Coorg, one of India’s most sought-after tourist destinations.

The idea of Storm, which had been in the making for almost a decade finally took shape in 2012 when more than 15 artists from all over India enchanted music lovers in an authentic music camp-out set some 5000 feet above the sea-level . Storm 2013 builds on this earlier experience and promises to create a roaring and incredible storm with many more artists and genres of music.

After 48 hours of an absolute musical high, go on and let your hair down in the serenity of Coorg, often called the Scotland of India.

From misty hills and coffee plantations to fantastic trekking trails to Tadiandamol, the highest peak in Kodagu, and Pushpagiri, the second highest peak; Coorg makes for an experience so magnificent that you’re sure to come back for more.  Other must visits in and around this quaint town include Madikeri Fort, Kaveri Nisargadhama, an island formed by river Kaveri which has a lush foliage of bamboo, sandalwood and teak trees, Dubare Elephant camp and Abbi Falls.

While you’re there, don’t give the local food a miss. Gorge on delicacies like Kadambuttu (rice dumplings) and akki rotti (rice pancakes made of cooked rice and rice flour) served with pandi (pork) curry or chicken curry. The homemade wines, beverages and jams are a must-try and you might want to take some home before you leave! Also shop for pepper, cardamom, nutmeg, honey, coffee and Kodagu kittale (oranges), all locally produced in Coorg.
