New woodlands Hotel

Location is Excellent with a good connectivity, Food is tasty and the Room is homely & Room service is amazing.Overall we enjoyed and had a great stay !!!

Food and room service were top notch. We got upgraded to a cottage which was very comfortable and clean. Suited our purpose.

Average but near rooms . Very spacious. Courteous staff. People in reception can smile. Overall I liked it

The hotel was very good and the people were accomodating and hospitable. Locality was very good and especially the food at Krishna hotel in the same complex was damm good and yummy.

My stay at Hotel Woodlands was average. The rooms are spacious, but the ambiance could be improved, especially in the restrooms, which felt a bit outdated. The hotel has three restaurants offering good food, though slightly expensive. It’s an old property with potential, but there is still room for improvement.

Centrally located property with good dining facilities. Value for money, rooms are dated but spacious and clean.

Excellent Room service, superb , delicious food, house keeping prompt, hospitality very good.... overall homely feel for Family stay... Only issue, I faced was...due to rain and I not using AC...the floor was almost wet... through out the day and night... Overall, homely feel...

The hotel is good. We selected a deluxe room which is big and good for kids. AC, fridge, geyser, tv all are good. They have their own house restaurant. So we didn't face any issue in fooding.Location is awesome, just beside the main road and marina is half an hr distance. I am not satisfied with the cottage room but for couple only it is good

Horrible hotel. This is a 1 star hotel. Water was dripping from the ceiling onto the floor the entire duration. Only one usable plug point rest all were blocked so that we don’t use them. Cannot plug in iron box they us telling it’s very common that whole hotel power shuts off if used. Trying to us to upgrade our room and pay more for it and pay for an extra bed on top of it. Floor was dirty, dusty. No free water bottles were given in the room. No water kettle. No proper towels provided.

Property is centrally located. Room was spacious and excellent. Reception staff were good. Worth the price. Food at restaurant was too good. Definitely would prefer the same hotel if at all I visit Chennai next time

One day stay. Old but decent property. Helpful staff. Good location. Value for money.

No doubt the hotel has a location advantage being in the main city but the age old system is still continuing. The rooms are quite spacious and comfortable. Shampoo sachets, Medimix small soups and towels are the only toiletries. Some TV Hindi channels are conspicuously missing like Sony live, Sports channels etc. Food is reasonably good and hence no comments.

Great rooms, delicious food, professional staff service is what we experienced during our stay. It is a old hotel and an iconic landmark in Chennai.

Stayed for 2 days in the hotel with family, including 2 teenagers kids. The kids found the rooms a bit inadequate, struggled with wifi and tv remotes. We switched off the a/c and went out and by the time we came back the entire floor became very damp and spoiled a few things on the floor. Hotel mgmt advised us to not switch off a/c and fan even when going out. They charged 150/- extra for mopping.

Good staff, safe and clean atmosphere, good to stay for short time... little costly tea and food

Located in the heart of the city with marina beach just 2 kms away. Even though its a old property, very well maintained with polite staff and good service. Only twin beds are available in executive rooms and no king / queen size bed is available. Air conditioner doesn't have any control in the room. It's switch on or off. This is inconvenient as we Were not able to adjust the temperature. Spacious parking available inside property and very good veg restaurant is also avaliable.
