KSTDC Hotel Mayura Chalukya Badami

Location is ok Food is Ok Service & amenties were not upto the mark. Placed in very old building, may be non ac semi deluxe, constructed during 1961 more than sixty years old building. No proper hot water for bathing. Interiors were not upto mark.

The staff were co-operative and did their best. We found lizards and cockroaches inside the rooms. We took 4 Non A/c rooms and 2 A/c rooms. In one of the rooms A/c stopped working in the middle of the night.(Room No 310). Bath room doors needs immediate repair or replacement in the case of almost all the 6 rooms we occupied. Hand shower didn't work in one of the rooms. soap rack was not fixed properly in Room No 308. Since entire facility was provided only with Solar water system, we didn't get sufficient hot water for bath. Alternate heating system is need of the hour. The facility has lot of space for expansion so, they can think of seperate veg restaurant. Efforts may please be made to have excellent rest rooms and lockers for guests arriving early for check in and checking out in the morning to catch evening bus/train. A nominal fee per person can be levied for using this facility.

Pros : Location is good with ample parking space, TV had many good channels and staff is courteous. Cons : there is no lift, in room 301 curtains were torn & illfitted, dressing table glass had several marks and needed replacement, room had no telephone, surrounding within the campus were not clean, restaurant had very limited choice in both breakfast and dinner.

This was a good hotel and has a restaurant attached to it. The room was reasonably clean and so was the bathroom. The area surrounding the rooms is a beautiful garden. Unfortunately, the TV didn't work. You can book cars for travelling if you wish to. If you like to walk, you can actually walk from here to the Badami caves if you wish to.

Dull Hospitality , Food was OK but the Guest is the least & last priority for them , I do not recommend

pros: accessible to all sites nearby. cons: Very pathetic rooms, No remote for AC and TV despite asking multiple times, simply ignored like govt employees. Rooms and washrooms need maintenance asap as there are seapagas everywhere. Though I opted for breakfast, there is only idli vada available which is not justified there charges paid.

The rooms are aged and infrastructure is old. Walls of the room and bathroom are damp and smell of dampness can be felt in room. AC is in pathetic condition. Remote is not available and not provided on requesting twice. Had to operate it through mobile app luckily my phone has IR. Wall fan was not working. Towels were not provided on requesting thrice. Had to walk to reception to get it from the staff. No hot water is available as the system is Solar powered, No electric geyser or boiler is installed as mentioned on MMT portal. Hard water for bathing. Scaled and broken CP and Sanitaryware in bathroom. Old outdated light fittings. Uncomfortable mattress. Good parking facility and food.

KSTDC Hotel Mayura Chalukya, Badami The rooms are very spacious and comfortable, definitely worth the price I paid. My overall experience with this hotel was excellent — clean rooms, good service, and a pleasant stay. Highly recommended!

The premise was good.. room was spacious. However, the room service was very poor. There was no hot water available in the room and staff arranged for another room for hot water after an hour's time and the water was not hot enough in the second room as well

Property is good and location is also good. Food at the restaurant was decent. Toiletries were good. Cleanliness of bedsheets, towels and chairs in the room need to be improved.

They didn't allow check in on time, they charged for 3 person but didn't even provided enough drinking water for 3 person. Service at reception was very poor, room size was very small, didn't even had space to keep luggage, ventilation was very bad.

Stay is good.. But the food is having veg and non veg both in same kitchen... So pure veg peoples stay away from this hotel
