Nice Relaxed Time Off at Mountain Lap

The hotel is at the prime location with easy accessibility to mall road and other view spots of Darjeeling. The view from balcony is picturesque with glimpse of Kanchenjunga (to get the mountain view, booking has to be done in junior suites at 4th floor- not commendable for aged people). The room service and food also quite good. Special mention of Anuj, Satyam, Chacha and Rontuda.

Room was too small. Room lock from inside was broken not working properly. Food is too expensive not value for money. No lift available they give you stay at 4th floor too much struggle for elder people. No hill view at any cost. 1900 for one night is too much not recommend at all.

Just horrible , Room was pathetic, Don't care attitude, Room was upgraded to suite but WC broken , towel and bedsheets have stain ,no standard ,Furniture was broken lots of marks . As per the confirmation I should get 10% Discount on F&B ,However hotel refused to give ,Show I don't consume any food from hotel ,this should be zero star

Worst stay in golden white yak

This is one of the cheating hotel in darjeeling. I have booked junior suite for my stays and there is no suite at all in this hotel. All rooms are same. Firstly we were allotted to room no 225 which is a small room with no bed lamps, damaged ac and the no lights in balcony and beds are not that clean. Upon complaining, they have shifted us to room no 224, which is again not a suite and broken bathroom tap with no lights in balcony. Upon complaining again, they have fixed the bathroom tap which took more than an hour. As if we came here to fix these issues not for holidays. Annoying enough. Hotels staffs for room services are non progessionals and hopeless, as they brought us wrong orders upon ordering what we are looking for. Its a kind of humiliating most of the times. Not recommending this hotel for anyone. I have booked as per rating but seems its manipulated nicely.

Room quality is best except the mountain views. Restaurant doesn't serve with non veg foods. Road to hotel premises movement for guests are to much difficult and there is no lift in the hotel. Staffs behavior is very good. They provide daily sanitization to maintain good hygiene.

Hotel is located 200 meters away from mall road and the price is very high which you can get other better hotels in mall road and the helpers there say i am expecting atleast 100 rupees from you for doing their job of bringing luggage to room. Food is the only part which was good in the stay

Our most expected but the worst stay at darjeeling white yak hot

The location of the property is good, easy to find, walking distance from vehicle pick up and drop point in the centre of the town, there was some inconvenience due to non-availability of lift, because it's not so easy for children and females to step up to the third floor, deluxe rooms are very small, not well equipped in comparison to the charge per night, linen are the dirtiest we have ever experienced, foul smelling toilet, intercom was unavailable, food quality is good, well secured environment.

The room provided by the hotel was excellent. The restaurant at the hotel is vegetarian. But the food quality was excellent. Only thing that was a bit on the negative side was the location. The hotel is not perfect for elderly people.
