The Worst Experience of my Life - Locked in the Bathroom for 2 Hours! I had one of the worst experiences of my life while at Hotel Jalsa, MP Nagar. I was locked in the bathroom, yelling, and banging on the door trying to get someone's assistance for almost 2 hours, and no staff came. After I managed to get free and told the receptionist on duty he did not apologize or show any concern, instead he accused me of making an excuse to change rooms. This is beyond disrespectful, unprofessional, and insensitive behavior to be shown for any hotel. However, the morning receptionist seemed to show concern for the issue and apologized for the inconvenience. However, doesn't excuse that this never should have happened in the first place. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. There is a serious lack of basic safety, staff responsibilities, and customer service.

I've been staying at this property since 2022 whenever I visit Bhopal. However, this time my experience was extremely disappointing. The room was not very clean, dust and water were coming out of the AC, with a weird sound, and in the bathroom both the shower and the tap were running simultaneously. Even when I wanted to fill the bucket and take a bath, I had no option to turn off the shower as the mechanism was not functional. This was my 7th stay at the property, and I had never faced any issues before. Unfortunately, this time the management was very rude. I encountered who posed as the General Manager, and his behavior was unacceptable. I truly miss the times when Ms. Richa was in charge she always handled everything gracefully. I had rated this hotel 5 stars in 2022, but I have now deleted that review to post this one. I will certainly not be staying at this property again.
