Below average stay but good breakfast spread

We had booked Deluxe room and the condition was not great at all. The AC was not working, the room looked very run-down and the bathroom fittings were rusted and hanging loose all over. The only good thing about my stay here was their proximity to Meenakshi temple and the breakfast spread.

Our stay was quite comfortable and nice.The rooms and toilets were neat and clean.Staff were very helpful and polite.Location being close to Meenakshi temple worked well for us.

Terrible Stay

The floor was sticky in the room. The bathroom was not clean and had black mould in the corners. The staff was inattentive and appeared to not care about the guests. We booked a queen bed, the mattress was just two kept side by side. uncomfortable to sleep in. Room also had a constant damp smell.

My stay at Astoria 2.0 Hotel was truly delightful and exceeded all expectations. From the moment I checked in, the staff greeted me with warm hospitality and ensured a smooth and quick process. The cleanliness is impeccable, and the interiors are tastefully done, offering both style and comfort. The location is excellent – very convenient for exploring Madurai, yet peaceful enough to relax after a day of sightseeing. The in-house restaurant deserves a special mention for its delicious spread of South Indian as well as continental dishes, served with great care. What stood out most was the attentiveness and courtesy of the staff. Every request was met with a smile, making me feel completely at home. Hotel is decent, neatly maintained, bathrooms are hygiene, beds & pillows seems to be new so it was good. I wanted a cab for half day and was particular about the driver & safety. Mr. Venkatesh helped me good on this and driver was good and polite. Hotel is near to railway station & temple

This property is located in a prime location. we took only the complimentary breakfast, which was average. The front office was courteous and arranged a car within 15 minutes of our checkin. We were able to cover most of the places on and around Madurai in one day itself. Even after we checked out , they took care of our luggage and helped us until we came back from our shopping.

Astoria 2.0 - Not worth as per their room tariff they are charging, bed is too small if you are a couple with a small baby to sleep with. No Refrigerator in room, no room slippers. For dinner you have to go to their old building where their food is pathetic. No not visiting next time in this price tariff I would prefer some other option. I would say Location is good near to temple.

It’s a great stay near to the temple.Temple is easily accessible via auto and is hardly 2km from the hotel. Astoria hotel 2.0 is a newly constructed property with all the modern amenities.Room size is also good and staff is also very helpful and polite. Food buffet is also good and they serve you hot dosa based on your order It was a great pleasant. Stay hotel is very near to the temple hardly 2 km and easily accessible via transportation like auto you can easily get it. There room size is also very good and it has all the amenities staff was very helpful and polite. They even allowed us to order food from outside since we reached very late after the temple.
