We were looking forward to our stay at the legendary fairmont san francisco, for quite some time. When we finally landed in san francisco, we were delighted to see the beautiful sunny weather, the travel to the Fairmont San Francisco, which is situated atop the picturesque nob hill, was very interesting as we had to drive at 45 degrees angle multiple times. The checkin was done easily but as we entered the room on 3rd floor, we found the size of the room as comparatively small, given the grand size of the Fairmont San Francisco. Facilities were average as most of the amenities were available for-asking including shaving and toothbrush kit etc. The Fairmont San Francisco seemed to be understaffed and very few guests were seen around in the lobby or in the resturants even during peak hours. Overall the Fairmont San Francisco stay was pleasant but nowhere near grand !
