Char Dham Yatra includes Yamunotri and Gangotri which are the sources of Yamuna and Ganga. There is Kedarnath, one of the 12 Jyotirlingas and Badrinath, dedicated to Lord Vishnu.
Yamunotri and Gangotri Yatra will start on April 30th. Kedarnath Yatra will start on May 2nd and Badrinath Yatra will start on May 4th.
Register online via the official Uttarakhand Tourism Department website/app. If you wish for offline registration, you can do it at Haridwar Railway Station and ISBT in Rishikesh.
For pilgrims above the age of 50, they need to provide a health certificate during registration. In general, everyone is advised to get a health check up before their travel.
The closing dates of the Yatra for Yamunotri is 23rd October, Gangotri is 22nd October, Kedarnath is 23rd October and Badrinath is 6th November.
There are many accommodation options near each Dham as well as in other nearby cities. It is advisable to book your stay beforehand for a smooth trip.
