Janki Chatti is a small town located in the Uttarkashi district of the Indian state of Uttarakhand. The town is named after the goddess Janki, who is believed to be an incarnation of Goddess Sita, the consort of Lord Rama in Hindu mythology. The main attraction in Janki Chatti is the hot water springs, which are considered to have medicinal properties and are used for bathing before proceeding to Yamunotri.
