Overview

Vasco da Gama, Goa's largest city (even larger than Panjim), is located on the Mormugao Peninsula. This city is also the economic backbone of Goa due to its abundance of shops. Vasco da Gama, or just Vasco as the locals call it, is a thriving commercial hub, in contrast to the rest of South Goa.

Baina, Bogmalo and Hansa are all popular beaches that attract visitors from far and wide.
