Overview
Located 2 hours from Chirala, these caves date back to the 5th century and are home to five stone-cut shrines. Though in ruins, they are still hauntingly beautiful.

What To Expect?
Look out for the statue of Ardhanareeshwara, the half-man-half-woman avatar of Lord Shiva, Nataraja, Lord Vinayaka and Ganesha. Each sculpture flaunts the grand architecture of that era.
Tips
- You are allowed to click photographs inside the caves.
- The cave timings are from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- The entry fee is Rs. 3 per person.
- Best time to visit is between 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
