The mosque is named so due to its located in Al Bidya village of Fujairah. Inclusive of 4 unequal domes and an uneven roof, the mosque displays a unique architectural design which separates it from the modern mosques.

Archaeology and Local History Museum
The museum first opened its gates to visitors on November 30, 1991 and has since been upgraded on regular intervals to accommodate more exhibits. The museum houses archaeological exhibits discovered in excavations all over Fujairah.
