Lake with Scenic Views
The Ranchi Lake is present at the base of a hill and was dug up by a British National Colonel Onsely in 1842 to manage the water table of the city. The lake is also known as Bada Talab and is spread in a vast area of more than 50 acres.

Jagannath Temple
Shrine atop A Hillock
The temple is located 10 km from Ranchi and is more than 3 centuries old. The original temple is said to be built by Aninath Shahdeo. With a similar architecture, the temple resembles the Jagannath Temple in Puri, Odisha.
