Nestled on the banks of Yamuna River, Agra welcomes tourists with its Mughal-era structures, UNESCO World Heritage Sites, one of the Seven Wonders of the World, magnificent forts, tombs and pulsating markets.

Majestically located on the banks of Yamuna River, this wonder of the world was built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan as a memorial for his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal.

A place of residence of the Mughal emperors till 1638, this 16th century fort was built by Akbar and is now a World Heritage Site.

Sprawling over 119 acres of land in Sikandra, Akbar's Tomb stands out with its unique architecture combining red sandstone and white marble. The scenic garden surrounding it only adds to its beauty.

Built by Shah Jahan, this structure is no less than a shining pearl when sunshine strikes its surface. It was built between the years 1648 to 1654.

This Mughal mausoleum was built by Nur Jahan in the memory of her late father Mirza Ghiyas Beg, and is often described as a jewel box, and a draft of the iconic Taj Mahal.

Located in the vicinity of the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort, Mehtab Bagh is a Charbagh-style garden. While built by Babur, this garden boasting of a unique design, was first envisioned by Shah Jahan.

A small fort city near Agra, this place was founded as the Mughal capital by Akbar. This ghost-town now houses unique buildings depicting a blend of Islamic, Hindu and Christian architecture.

Chini Ka Rauza is a significant landmark in Indo-Persian architecture, known for its extensive use of glazed porcelain tiles, showcasing a remarkable fusion of artistic styles. Built in the 1630s for Shah Jahan's vizier, it is the first monument in India to be decorated extensively with glazed tile work, known as 'chini'.
