Yamunotri is a sacred Hindu shrine located in Uttarakhand. It is one of the four sacred pilgrimage sites in India collectively known as the Char Dham Yatra, which also includes Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath. Yamunotri is situated at an altitude of 3,293 meters above sea level and is the source of the Yamuna River, one of the most important rivers in northern India. The temple dedicated to the goddess Yamuna is the main attraction of the town and is surrounded by natural hot water springs and beautiful mountain ranges.
