About 2 hours from Bhubaneshwar, Puri is a coastal temple town along the Bay of Bengal in Odisha. It lies close to tourist hotspots like Konark Temple and Dhabaleswar Temple.

Believed to be the divine abode of Lord Vishnu, Lord Balaram and Goddess Subhadra, this legendary 12th century edifice is the primary tourist attraction in Puri.

Photography is allowed outside the temple, but not inside, enhancing the spiritual experience. Visitors should dress modestly and carry essential items like water bottles and small offerings. The temple has a nominal entry fee, making it accessible to all. The best time to visit is during the winter months from November to February.

The Shree Jagannatha Temple in Puri is an 11th-century temple dedicated to Lord Jagannath, a form of Lord Vishnu. Standing at 65 meters, it is the tallest temple in Orissa and a significant pilgrimage site for Hindus, being one of the four destinations in the Char Dham Yatra. The temple complex includes the main temple and 30 smaller surrounding shrines, making it a revered destination for devotees and tourists alike.
