Originally planned to be a modern housing estate, Park Guell is a green space dotted with architectural elements designed by Antoni Gaudi. About a century old, the park is named after Gaudi’s patron and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The Font Màgica is located in the Montjuïc neighborhood of Barcelona and was constructed by Carles Buigas for the 1929 Barcelona International Exposition. The fountain mechanism uses sustainable features for its mechanism.

The modernist building was built between 1906 and 1912 and is believed to be the last private residence designed by Gaudi. Incorporating ruled geometry and naturalistic elements, Casa Milà is designed as a constant curve inside out.

The church is located in the Ribera neighbourhood of Barcelona and is believed to have been built between 1329 and 1383. The church is extremely popular for its architectural simplicity and the unity of styles.

The museum was constructed for the International Exposition of 1929 in the National Palace of Montjuïc. The National Art Museum of Catalunya is known for its medieval and contemporary collection from middle ages to the 20th century.

The museum is located in 5 old stone mansions at Barcelona’s La Ribera neighbourhood. With more than 4000 artworks of the Spanish artist, the museum houses one of the most extensive collections of Pablo Picasso’s formative years.

Designed by the American architect Richard Meier, the Museo d’Art Contemporani de Barcelona opened in 1995 and is counted among the city’s major centres for modern art since then. With its all-white, glass-front façade, the museum is hard to miss.

A UNESCO World Heritage Site, Sagrada Familia is a temple of Catholic worship standing as an epitome of Antoni Gaudi’s innovative vision. The construction of the basilica started in 1882 and is expected to be completed by 2026.

Inaugurated in 2013, the Born Cultural Centre is known as an event and cultural space in the restored former market and is a must visit for those who wish to witness the city’s heritage up-close.

The building was originally built in 1877 and bought by Josep Batlló in 1903. The building stands as a structure of modernism at the central Paseo de Gracia street. The structure is a canvas of the designer’s marine inspiration and is known for its artistic value.
