Mankameshwar Temple, a sacred site believed to have been built by Lord Rama for his wife Sita, attracts numerous worshippers, especially during Shravan. Located near the serene Saraswati Ghat, this temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva.

Constructed by Mughal emperor Akbar in 1583 on the banks of river Yamuna, this fort is located near the famous Triveni Sangam (site of confluence of three holy Indian rivers Ganga, Yamuna and Saraswati).

A beautiful walled garden and burial complex pertaining to the Mughal era, this place houses the tombs of Shah Begum, Khusrau Mirza and Nithar Begum (emperor Jehangir’s wife, eldest son and daughter respectively), all still relatively intact.

Popular amongst Hindu devotees, the temple is known for its Lord Hanuman statue that is half-submerged in the Ganges. It is said that the river rises up to the spot during the monsoons to touch Hanuman's feet.

Known locally as Patthar Girja, All Saints Cathedral was designed by renowned British architect Sir William Emerson in 1870. Constructed in the late 19th century, Emerson also designed Kolkata�s Victoria Memorial and Mumbai�s Crawford Market. The cathedral is located on Sarojini Naidu Marg, Civil Lines.

Originally known as Anand Bhavan (abode of bliss), the house belonged to Motilal Nehru, an Indian politician. It was donated to the Indian National Congress party in 1930 when it was renamed Swaraj Bhavan (abode of freedom).

Located in Jhunsi about 14 kilometres away from Prayagraj (formerly Allahabad), the fort belonged to King Haribong who was cursed by Saint Ali Murtaza and as a result, the Mirrikh star fell onto the fort turning it upside down.

One of the 51 shaktipeeths in India, the temple is devoted to goddesses Kalyani and Lalita, the two avtars of goddess Mahashakti.
