Dwarka

The Dwarkadhish Temple, believed to have been established over 2500 years ago by Lord Krishna’s great-grandson, is a revered spiritual site. The temple stands on a small hill and features heavily sculpted walls.

Also known as Darukavana in the Shiv Purana, Nageshwar Jyotirlinga is about 20 minutes from the Dwarka city centre. The name Darukuvana originates from the Sanskrit word for deodar forests.

Also known as Rukmini Dwarkadish Temple, ISKCON Dwarka is part of the global ISKCON organisation, promoting Krishna consciousness and the Bhagavad Gita's teachings. The temple features vibrant idols of Lord Krishna and Radha and serves as a Vedic education centre.

A stretch of land separated by the sea, Bet Dwarka is believed to have been the family home of Lord Krishna. You will have to cover the sea by boat and the ride offers breathtaking views of nature and aviary life here.
