About Dwarkadhish Temple History
Lord Krishna's great-grandson, Vajranabha, originally built the Dwarkadhish Temple around 2,500 years ago. The current structure was built in the 15th or 16th century. Adi Shankara was an 8th-century Hindu theologian and philosopher who visited the shrine. Even today, you can see the memorial dedicated to his visit.
