Constructed by the by the Dominican friars during the end of 14th Century, the structure was finally completed at the onset of 15th century. Located in the popular Campo Giovanni e Paolo, this Dominican church stands around the equestrian statue of Bartolomeo Colleoni designed by Andrea del Verrocchio. It has a huge brick faced and is an amalgam of true Gothic and classical architecture. The colourful stained glass window near the entrance has some pretty figures that were created in the 15th century.

Post 15th century, all funeral services were conducted here and it has remains of 25 chief magistrates. Dedicated to John and Paul who were the martyrs of Rome’s early Christian church, as you walk inside the church you will see there are many paintings, a Byzantine statue and the foot of St Catherine of Siena.
