Popularly known as the marble church, the construction of this church was completed between 1481 and 1489. Designed by the famous architect, Pietro Lombardo (known for Venetian Renaissance style) who was able to build a stunning structure given the limited space, he created an illusion of large space with the help of using different colour shades on the exterior.

Close to the church, a canal runs alongside which offers beautiful reflections every time. Owing to a dreamy location, this church also happened to be a favourite venue for weddings and you would often spot gondolas carrying newlyweds who get off and on from the Santa Maria dei Miracoli. The inside of the church is beautifully decorated with white, pink and grey marble reliefs. And the miraculous Virgin Mary (known for performing many miracles) is displayed at a high altar.
