A beautiful palace located on the majestic Grand Canal, Ca Rezzonico was designed by Baldassare Longhena during the 17th century. However, it took almost 100 years for Giorgio Massari to complete the humongous task of its construction. As you step inside, marvel at the Grand Ballroom which played host to many prestigious parties including the famous Bal Fantastica (Venice charity event).

Facing the canal, Ca Rezzonico is a three-story marble building. The upper floors of the palace were converted to Museum of Venice in the 17th century. Well-furnished and decorated with ancient objects, tapestries, oil paintings and pretty looking ceiling frescoes, the main floor exuberate magnificence from every corner. Don’t miss the Canaletto painting at the ground floor.
