The park was established in 1969 and is spread over two cities of Andhra Pradesh – Chittoor and Cuddapah. Sri Venkateswara Park is home to many endangered and exotic species of animals and plants. Most frequently spotted animals include the tree shrew, nilgai, wild boar, leopard, hyena, Indian giant squirrel, flying lizards and golden gecko.
