Located on the banks of Pushkarini, Sri Bedi Anjaneyaswami Temple evokes the childhood days of Lord Hanuman.

This holy shrine is said to have been built as per the Vishnavite tradition where the idol of Sri Anjaneya has its hands folded in supplication, also called the Anjali pose. According to the same tradition, it is also customary to have either Garuda or Anjaneya opposite the main temple. Sri Anjenaya was supposed to have been a devotee of Lord Rama, just as Garuda is of Sri Maha Vishnu.

Every Sunday Abhishekam is performed in honour of Lord Rama’s great devotee, and the most auspicious festival celebrated here is Hanuman Jayanti, when special offerings are made to the deity.
