Ram Shara Singh, one of the notable Arki rulers, constructed Diwan-i-Khas or the Audience Hall. The hall is graced with wall friezes that depict beautiful Arki, Kangra, Kullu, Rajasthani and European styles of miniature paintings.

In the archways and ceilings, there are intricate paintings of subjects pertaining to contemporary cities of Europe and Indian mythology. Flowery drawings, war scenes, erotic love scenes, and images of birds and animals reflect the strong influence of Guler style of art. The colourful frescoes also display interesting Chinese pictures and amusing stories from Puranas.

The Punjabi folk art is beautifully depicted in the murals. These spectacular paintings bear testimony to the fact that Arki rulers gave immense importance to various art forms.
