Founded in 1801 by Mr Caudeer Mohudeen, a well respected headman of the Indian Muslim community, Kapitan Keling Mosque is one of the most beautiful mosques located in Pinang. The entry into the mosque is free but the entrants have to wear a robe which is provided by the mosque.

The mosque was designed by German architect Henry Alfred Neubronner. The grandeur of the cream coloured mosque during the evening is magnificent.

  • Opening Closing Time 1 pm to 5 pm from Saturday to Thursday and 3 pm to 5 pm on Friday
