Founded almost a decade ago by Neeta Premchand, Bombay Paperie is among the premium paper stores in the country. The paper historian Neeta learnt the craft of making paper all by herself. She is also responsible for restoring the age-old Daulatabad paper mills in the state of Maharashtra. The prime feature of this store is that every single sheet of paper here is prepared by expert craftsmen. The ancestors of these craftsmen used to work in the royal court of the Mughal Emperor Jahangir. You will be surprised to know that paper at Bombay Paperie is made using cotton waste and not trees.

The papers are first prepared at Daulatabad mills, then sent for sorting in Mumbai and finally to Ahmedabad, where block printing is done. Every paper made here is unique and beautiful. At Bombay Paperie, you can purchase beautiful cards, stylish jewellery, colourful notebooks, boxes, bags and creative home decor items. Not only this, the store also conducts several workshops to keep this beautiful art alive.
