The Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) is the pride of the Aussies. Many historic matches and events have taken place at this stadium. Legends like Sir Don Bradman, Sachin Tendulkar, Adam Gilchrist and many more have played some of the finest cricket of their lives at the MCG. The museum at the MCG contains a lot of information and memorabilia of the evolution of cricket.

Interesting fact – there are only two copies of a photograph of Sachin Tendulkar and Sir Don Bradman standing together. One is with Sachin and other is with Sir Don Bradman’s family. The museum at MCG, called the National Sports Museum (NSM), requested Sir Bradman’s family to allow them to click pictures of the photograph, so that the museum could put it on display. Today, the museum has a photograph of Sachin and Bradman together.

The stands at the MCG were recently renovated and provide comfortable seating arrangements.
