FuaMulaku is located in the southern province of the Maldivian archipelago. While it is the smallest of the atolls with just one island, FuaMulaku has the largest island in Maldives.  This solitary island is exceptionally fertile, producing fruits and vegetables that are not grown elsewhere in the country, like mangoes, oranges and pineapples.

In South Nilandhoo Atoll, the island of Kudahuvadhoo has mysterious mounds known as hawittas. The National Museum of Maldives is located at Sultan Park in Male, which was the former palace of the Sultan of Maldives. The Islamic Centre and a distinct work of architecture in Maldives, The Grand Friday Mosque is a major attraction in Male. Masjid-al-Sultan Muhammad Thakurufaanu Al Auzam as it is formally called, is the largest mosque in Maldives and draws several pilgrims as well as architecture lovers throughout the year.

Muliaage is the official residence of the President of the Maldives. Located in the heart of Male, Muliaage lies in close proximity to the Friday Mosque and the Grand Minaret of Male, also known as Munnaru. 
Construction of the Muliaage was started in 1914 and was completed in 1919. The architecture of the Muliaage is highly reminiscent of the kind of buildings built during the colonial era in Sri Lanka. The Muliaage is very grand and spectacular in appearance and has been home to four Presidents of the Maldives till date.

Located on the Utheemu Island, one of the inhabited islands of the HaaAlif Atoll, UtheemuGanduvaru is popular as the birthplace of Sultan Mohamed Thakurufaanu. Thakurfaanu and his brothers are remembered for having fought a war that lasted fifteen years to evict the Portuguese from Maldives. The UtheemuGanduvaru is essentially the wooden palace in which Sultan Mohamed Thakurufaanu grew up and has been very well maintained over the years and portrays the lives of the affluent many years ago.

One of the best experiences for divers coming to Maldives is to be able to snorkel or scuba dive with Manta rays. Weighing up to 5,000 pounds and with a wingspan of 25 feet, these species can be found in large numbers in Manta Point. One of the best places to find them is at one of the many manta ray cleaning stations, where the mantas gather to have the plankton removed by smaller fish.

HukuruMiskiiy is the oldest mosque in Maldives, dating back to 1656. The walls of the mosque are intricately carved with coral stone and Arabic script. The interiors have beautiful lacquer work and fine woodcarvings.
The mosque was originally an old temple that faced west to the setting sun, and not northwest towards Mecca, hence worshippers face the corner of the mosque when they pray.

One of the oldest dive sites in Maldives to become internationally known, Banana Reef gets its name from the shape of the island when viewed from above.
The area has some of the most beautiful caves, cliffs and coral growths. A popular spot with divers, the caves at Banana Reef contain several species of exotic fish, and other marine life like the squirrelfish, soldierfish and Maldivian grubfish.

Not meant for the faint-hearted, HP Reef is great for those looking to explore the underwater world. Very often referred to as Rainbow Reef, because of its array of colours, HP Reef is a great dive site with strong currents. 
This year-round dive site features soft corals of different colours and gorgonians or sea whips. With dives of up to 10 to 40 metres deep, the reef is great for spotting various reef fish, manta rays, dog tooth tunas and other marine life. Out here, you will also get to see crevices and caves, including large caves.

Fish head, also known as Mushimasmingili Reef, is arguably one of the world’s best dive spots. The National Art Gallery of Maldives was established by the Government of Maldives in 1999 to showcase regular displays of Maldivian and international art works.

Offering one of the best independent diving experiences in Maldives, Gan is part of the southernmost Addu atoll in Maldives. Addu atoll lies just south of the equator, and was one of the few underwater areas in Maldives to be spared the effects of coral bleaching that the rest of the Maldivian islands suffered from in 1998. Giant manta rays, shark species and green turtles are found here.
