Dedicated to Francis Xavier, this beautiful church was constructed in 1666. Believed to be the most stunning Baroque church in the entire region of Switzerland, craftsmen from cities like Italy and Austria were specially called to create this wondrous marvel. The church has two dome shaped towers on either side which were later constructed in 1893.

As you step inside the church, you will see that the interiors of the church have been decorated with rose and white plaster work. At the front of the sanctuary lies a huge pink colour altar piece. The other side of the chapel is constructed in praise of Brother Kalus. Here, there is no altar piece but a life-size statue of the beloved.
