Formerly known as the Langkawi Bird Park, the Langkawi Wildlife Park was was opened on 24th December 2002 by the honorable chief minister of Kedah, Mr Y.A.B. Dato’ Seri Syed Razak Syed Zain. It covers an area of 5.5 acres and is at a distance of just 8.5 kms from Kuah Town. The place is the home of hundreds of exotic birds of different shapes, sizes and colours. The place owns more than 2500 birds more than 150 species. It is a paradise for bird watchers.
