Located on the top of the Robinson Hill, Thean Hou Temple is the largest Chinese temple in the South East Asia, dedicated to Thean Hou, the Heavenly mother. The six tiered temple gives a spectacular view back over the city. Opened in the year 1989, the temple belongs to the Malaysian Chinese community in Malaysia. The temple is very popular amongst married couples to take their wedding photos. There is also a marriage registration office in the temple’s second floor, and it is used by almost 5000 couples every year.
