This 100-year old temple features idols and statues and is considered an important religious landmark by Hindus. Besides being a popular Hindu temple, it is also one of the popular rock climbing sites in South East Asia. Around January, you can see thousands of Hindu pilgrims climbing 272 rock stairs to make an annual pilgrimage and pay homage to their deity Lord Murugan at a festival called Thaipusam.
