Vidyasagar Smriti Mandir, located conveniently on Vidyasagar Street, is one of the three campuses of Vidyasagar College of Women. This heritage building, which earlier served as the residence of Pt. Iswar Chandra Vidyasagar, was handed over to Vidyasagar College of Women by the government of West Bengal.

In operation since 2000, Vidyasagar Smriti Mandir features two purposely renovated buildings. The main building features a special study centre of IGNOU and the Vidyasagar Memorial Museum. Several job-oriented courses, trainings and language courses are offered in this building. Do visit the museum to have a glimpse of the beautiful contemporary portrait of Pt. Iswar Chandra Vidyasagar. An exquisite terracotta mural, measuring 20x60 ft, which depicts the life and works of Vidyasagar is the main highlight of the museum. Sculpted by Prof. Biman Das, this mural is known to be the largest work of its kind in Kolkata. The second building of Vidyasagar Smriti Mandir houses a well-stocked library and a well-equipped auditorium.
