Lord Krishna Temple is a highly revered site, located on the banks of the Imphal River, in Brahmpur Guru Aribam Leikai. Dedicated to Lord Krishna, this shrine features beautiful idols of the Lord, depicting various stages of His life since childhood. King Charairongba was the benefactor of this religious site, which was constructed in the year 1704.

Elevated by layers of bricks, the base of the temple serves as the porch. The inner sanctum of this shrine has four walls connected with the porch. These walls rise to a certain height and then merge with the semi-circular roof of the temple.

The facade of this shrine faces south and a flight of stairs leads to the entrance of the main complex. The roof is dome-shaped and adorned with floral patterns. The floral design trims into a short neck to hold a circular crown that bears two kalashas placed one above the other. Hindu festivals, particularly Janmashtami, are celebrated with religious fervour and gaiety at the temple.
