Hong Kong Space Museum is located on the Tsim Sha Tsui waterfront and over the years, the egg-shaped building of the museum has come to be known as an important landmark of Hong Kong. There is a lot to see and do inside the museum, especially for those interested in science, astronomy and exploration. It is divided into two parts; while one comprises of the Hall of Space Science and Hall of Astronomy, the other boasts of the popular Stanley Ho Space Theatre.

Several exhibits about the solar system and astronomy, a digital planetarium projector and many interactive displays aim at educating people about the wonders of the universe. Apart from this, there are interesting displays on ancient astronomical equipment, early rockets, history of manned space flights and more. A virtual 3D glider ride (which will make you feel as if you are walking on the moon) is the highlight of any visit to the museum. Another thing you must not miss at Hong Kong Space Museum is the 40-minute Omnimax Sky Show at Stanley Ho Space Theatre.
