The church of Reis Magos was constructed in 1555 shortly after the construction of the Ries Magos Fort. It is dedicated to St. Jerome. Historians have evidence that the church was built on the ruins of an old Hindu temple. Two former Portuguese viceroys have been buried here. Every year on the 6th of January, the locals celebrate the journey of the three kings who went to worship the Infant Jesus and the trip starts from the Church around the whole village.
