Also known as the Mamco, the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art is one of the the newest museums in Geneva dedicated to contemporary art. Opened in 1944, the museum is home to a collection of over 4,000 objects and has hosted over 450 exhibits. Housed in a 1950’s industrial factory the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art adds a new feature to its permanent exhibits every three years.

  • Opening Closing Time 12 noon to 6 pm (Tuesday to Friday), from 11 am onwards (Saturday and Sunday). The Museum remains closed on Mondays and entry to the museum is free on the first Wednesday of every month between 6 pm to 9 pm.

  • Entrance Fee CHF 8 (adults). Entry for children is free.
