One of Delhi’s most famous temples, the Shri Kalkaji Mandir is visited by crores of devotees every year. Also known as Manokamna Siddha Peeth, it is believed that by praying at these temples the desires and wishes of all devotees shall come true.

The Shri Kalkaji Temple dates back to a time when Goddess Kalka had killed a demon named Raktbeejasus along with other demons. The Goddess was also worshipped by Lord Krishna before and after the battle of Kurukshetra. Even though the temple is visited throughout the year, the temple is thronged with devotees during the festival of Navratra, during which even a fair is organised at the temple.
