Located in the Teen Murti House the Nehru Memorial Museum and Library seeks at conserving the history of the Indian Independence struggle. Established in 1964, following the death of India’s first Prime Minister, Jawaharlal Nehru, the museum today is an important centre for advanced research and modern history. Visitors to the museum can also see the preserved study of Nehru.

The Nehru Memorial library on the premises of the museum is home to one of the largest collection of information on Nehru. Apart from that the library also houses writings of Mahatma Gandhi and papers of prominent luminaries such as Sarojini Naidu, Charan Singh, Rajkumari Amrit Kaur, B.C Roy and C.Rajagopalachari among others. In 2010 the archives of the museum were digitized and by June 2011 pages of manuscripts were available on the website of the library. Apart from the museum and library the complex also has a planetarium within its complex, known as the Nehru Planetarium.
