At close proximity to the Nagarhole National Park lies a stunning sight of the cascading Iruppu Falls. Originating from the Brahmagiri Range, the falls plunge down 170 feet at two points. Nestled amidst dark forest, the Iruppu Falls is a great site for picnics.

A forest trail leads from these falls to the Brahmagiri Peak in Southern Kodagu. Apart from being a popular tourist attraction, Iruppu Falls is a significant pilgrimage spot too.

Rameshwara Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva is located on the banks of the Lakshamana Tirtha River, en route to the falls. This temple attracts a large number of pilgrims during the festival of Shivaratri.
