The Royal Museum for Central Africa also known as the Africa Museum is a natural history museum situated a little outside of the city of Belgium. The focus of the museum is Congo, a country in Central Africa which was once colonized by Belgium.

The museum is currently home to 20,000 maps, 56,000 wood samples, 25,000 rock samples and 8,000 musical instruments and 350 archives.

  • Opening Closing Time 9am to 5pm (Monday to Friday). The museum remains closed over the weekend.

  • Entrance Fee EUR 4 (adults), EUR 3 (senior citizens) EUR 1.50 (Youths/students). Children under 12 years can enter free.
